This Privacy Policy describes how The Value Network LLC (“The Value Network,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information through this website at thevaluenetwork.net.

It does not cover our products, which have their own privacy policies presented at sign-up, and it does not cover systems we build for clients — in those engagements the client controls the data and its own privacy policy applies.

• Information you send us. When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, your company name if you provide one, and the contents of your message. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include.
• Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, which may include IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps. These are generated automatically as part of serving the site.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not ask for payment details on this website.

We use the information you send us to respond to your inquiry, to discuss and scope potential work, and to keep a record of our correspondence. We use technical information to operate and secure the site.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share it only with the service providers listed below, and where we are required to by law or to establish or defend a legal claim.

We rely on a small number of providers to operate this site. Each processes information only as needed to provide its service:

• Amazon Web Services— website hosting and server logs.
• Resend— delivery of contact form submissions to our inbox.
• Our email provider— storage of correspondence once it reaches us.

We keep contact form submissions and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the discussion, and generally no longer than twenty-four months after our last exchange — unless the inquiry becomes an engagement, in which case business records are retained as required for tax and legal purposes. Server logs are retained according to our hosting provider’s standard retention period.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, request that we correct or delete it, or object to or restrict how we use it.

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Any cookies present are strictly necessary for the site to function or are set by our hosting provider for security and load balancing.
